White Nose Syndrome (WNS)White Nose Syndrome, first discovered in 2006, has been the main cause of endangerment for Indiana Bats. The disease causes white fungus to grow on the faces and wings of the bats. Since 2006, WNS has killed over a million Indiana bats throughout caves from New York to West Virginia.
